The 28th Annual Kids’ Day 2025 is a free, family-focused event that serves children and families across eight rural South Carolina communities (Cross, Eadytown, Pineville, St. Stephens, Pringletown, Ridgeville, Eutawville, & Holly Hill), many of which face limited access to vital services and resources. As the area’s largest and longest-running community gathering, the event brings together over 300 participants and nearly 100 partner organizations to provide free meals, health screenings, school supplies, and hands-on activities designed to engage and uplift. More than a day of fun, Kids’ Day plays a crucial role in bridging gaps in access to care and support by directly connecting families with tools that promote safety, health, education, and overall well-being. It also creates space for community building, offering families a sense of connection, encouragement, and belonging. By empowering families and nurturing children’s growth, the event reflects CHECK’s deep commitment to creating brighter, more resilient futures in underserved communities.
